More than 23 years in law enforcement, 13 of them as a detective: eight years in homicide and five in a robbery unit, with two years assigned to a training unit. Over a thousand interviews. A Navy veteran with more than ten years of service.

Two sayings he gave young detectives are the company's. "Let the evidence lead the way." Every product here is built that way. Nothing is graded that isn't in the words. Nothing is scored without the record behind it. Every number on this site has a source under it. And "Never let your emotions dictate your actions." The whole of Case File: Conversations is practice at that, with a person who pushes back and a debrief that notices whether you stayed level.

Investigative Logic LLC is a Virginia company. The people in Case File are fictional; the city is fictional; no product is built from any real person, case or agency file.
